We Support Multiple Types of Lasers
My Favorite Prints researches various laser cutting and engraving technologies to help you make the right purchasing decision. Our partnerships also help you save time and money when discounts are available.
How can we help you?
Check out a few of the most popular types of lasers below. The machine(s) you choose will dictate which limitations and benefits you’ll encounter as you learn.
CO2 Laser
The carbon-dioxide laser was one of the earliest gas lasers to be developed. It was invented by Kumar Patel of Bell Labs in 1964 and is still one of the most useful types of laser. Carbon-dioxide lasers are the highest-power continuous-wave lasers that are currently available.
Fiber Laser
Fiber lasers are everywhere in the modern world. Due to the different wavelengths they can generate, they are widely used in industrial environments to perform cutting, marking, welding, cleaning, texturing, drilling and a lot more. They are also used in other fields such as telecommunication and medicine.
UV Laser
What are Ultraviolet Lasers? Ultraviolet lasers (UV lasers) emit UV laser light, typically in the range of 200 nm to 389 nm. UV lasers offer extremely high photon energy, which opens up a wide range of applications that visible and infrared laser sources can’t address.
MOPA Laser
The Master Oscillator Power Amplifier (MOPA) refers to a system that is made up of a ‘master’ laser and an optical amplifier to boost the output power. Alternatively, conventional fiber lasers are powered using Q-Switch technology, which creates laser beam pulses that last mere billionths of a second.

“What a time to be alive!”
“I started this company with a few small goals. As time passed and I grew as a person; my goals started to get bigger and position My Favorite Prints, Inc. where it is today. I met so many new people this year and I look forward to more new friendships to come.”
