We support a wide range of machines for additive manufacturing also known as

3D Printing

My Favorite Prints researched various additive manufacturing technologies to help you make the right purchasing decision. Our unique set of partnerships also helps you save time and money throughout the entire process.

How can we help you?

Check out a few of the most popular types of additive manufacturing technologies below. The machine(s) you choose will dictate which limitations and benefits you’ll encounter as you learn.

FDM

Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) Technology works with specialized 3D printers and production-grade thermoplastic monofilaments to build strong, durable, and dimensionally stable parts.

FGF

Fused granulate fabrication (FGF) is an extrusion-based 3D printing technique where plastic granulates (AKA plastic pellets) are melted and fed through a nozzle.

DLP

DLP (Digital Light Processing) is a 3D printing technology used to rapidly produce photopolymer parts. It’s very similar to SLA; where SLA machines use a laser that traces a layer, a DLP machine uses a projected light source to cure the entire layer at once.

mSLA

Masked Stereolithography (MSLA) is a modified form of SLA printing. SLA uses a laser to trace the layers, and it is often reserved for industrial use since it is expensive. MSLA uses an ultraviolet (UV) LED array and a LCD screen to cure an entire layer at once.

Metals

There are several manufacturing processes that fall under the heading of metal additive manufacturing, but this article concentrates on those which use layers of metal powder to build up and form complex structures that may be difficult to create with other techniques.

Advanced Polymers

3D printing makes it possible to produce objects with much more complex structures than traditional manufacturing methods and is likely to become the go-to manufacturing process for many different areas of manufacturing.

“What a time to be alive!”

“I started this company with a few small goals. As time passed and I grew as a person; my goals started to get bigger and position My Favorite Prints, Inc. where it is today. I met so many new people this year and I look forward to more new friendships to come.”
